Q: What Makes PixelLights Diferent to Install?

A: .Many reasons, Here is one. With our 3 styles of pre-drilled channel the lights just snap in and ready for install. Screw to connections together, place channel as needed and attach with couple screws.

Q: Can I replace a damaged light?

A: Absolutely, no splicing required! Simply remove section and replace new cable. If a string is defective we will replace the entire string.

PixelLights Layout Guide is the detailed guide you will use one time to get a excact estimate of lay out and material list needed for the job. Great for training your sales team as it goes step by step. When completed it can be used as reference for employees to know how the install is to be done.

Q: How do I learn how to measure to quote a install?

A: Our Learning Center can Help you step by step. This Layout Manual shows in details of a average home that has different levels and peaks to given you a good example.

One Tip: Instead of climbing on the roof there is other way to measure. I look at the metal flashing knowing it comes in 10 ft. lengths. Or metal soffits are 1 ft. pieces and by counting the seams. Another way in our area is metal fascia is 16 ft. runs. Finding what works for you in your area will get easier the more you do it.

CONTROLLER FAQs

Q: How many controllers do I need for my house?

A: That depends on how many Pixel Lights you’ll be using! One controller is able to power up to 200 feet on a single output and is designed with two output channels. Therefore, if your controller is centrally located, it can run up to 400 feet of Pixel Lights. Most standard homes only require one controller.

Q: Do I need a power booster to use the controller?

A: There is no need to use power boosters with Pixel Lights! Pixel Lights run on lower voltage amps than any of our competition, which means no power boosters and a more energy efficient system for your home.

SPLITTER GUIDE

When the splitter is being used to add branches to a roofline. It needs a few adjustments inside the controller. Switching a few toggles adds just the right amount of pixels to be on in that area. This makes for adding zones later a breeze within the app.

NOTE: Our splitter will branch the data signal, unlike other systems which only mirror the data by twisting wires together. Twisting wires together will only copy the data and will not give you independent control over the lights.

SPLITTER FAQs

Q: Does splitter require power?

A: Not at all. In order to use outputs A & B you need to set how many pixels will be used for each respective "split". The quantity of pixels is set with micro dip switches.

Q: Where is this mounted?

A: Pretty much anywhere as needed on exterior underneath the soffit or side of wall. It is waterproof and about the size of a business card and unseen in most area needed.
